Choosing the one right for you

There are many lines of organic beauty products in the market today. They are good for the skin, and they soothe and help to heal it. There is also natural sun block in most organic makeups. People have used natural beauty treatments for centuries. I bet some of you have heard about using cucumbers to soothe eyes, and mud on the face to moisturize, baking powder to clean teeth. The list goes on and on.

Now the retail market has finally picked up on organic skin care in a big way. There are so many beauty lines; and they all use some sort of crushed minerals. There are no added dyes or scents to irritate the skin. The color comes from the minerals used.

These makeups are easy to apply, and look more natural on your skin. They do not sink into skin and clog pores. They last a long time because it takes so little of the makeup to get the results you need. They adhere better to the skin and do not sweat off. Look at all of the brands, and choose one that suits you. There are several good ones such as Bare Minerals, Bare Organics, Biologika, Inc and many others. Do a bit of research for yourself. The colors look much brighter and darker in the container than they do when you put them on your skin so experiment a little to decide which colors suit you best.

As far as skin care there are also natural products for treating your skin whether it is for cleansing, toning, moisturizing, or products for anti-aging. For cleansing, blue-green algae and grape seed extract is a gentle pure cleansing lotion which is put out by Aubrey Organics. Plenish Skin Care offers both cosmetics with natural pigments and skin care that is all natural. Nurture My Body is a newer line that also includes skin care, hair care, body care, and baby care products.

Many of the organic products have come about due to Eco-Friendly organizations. Less waste, recycled packaging, no chemicals, everything is biodegradable or recyclable. This is not true for all organic products, but if this is your wish, you can find them easily.

These products have vitamins that are good for the skin. They work as well if not better than all of those products with chemicals, dyes, and synthetic ingredients. These products are definitely better for irritated or acne prone skin. The reason is because they are organic. Other products have ingredients that are harsh on the skin, and often worsen your condition.

If you like to make your own products there are a lot of sites with great organic recipes for you to make and use at home for skin treatments, lip balms, face masques, and soaps. If you have the time and want to do it, you can save money this way.

The products on the market are perfectly suited for most of us. One good thing is they are quick to apply, and they cover most blemishes or skin discolorations like rosatia. I have had great luck with these natural skin products. My skin has improved a great deal. My daughter, sister, and mother also use organic makeup and skin care. We all have very sensitive skin. These products have done wonders for us all. We did not even know that we were all using the same skin care lines. These natural lines of products are what you should start your daughter off with when she begins to experiment with makeup. It will be much better for her skin.

When we speak of skin care, the body needs care like the feet, hands, and legs. Olive oil products are a great natural moisturizer, as is Shea butter. They are both natural, and are strong moisturizers for especially dry skin. There are great foot treatments with mint and herbs to help soften the feet. Hands need special care with moisturizing cleansers and lotions to be applied several times a day.

There are natural fragrances to use as perfume and body sprays, but also for aroma therapy. Aroma therapy is relaxing and stress relieving. Natural fragrances have been used for centuries, such as vanilla, lemon, and certain herbs and flowers. They smell wonderful, and seem to last a fairly long time.

There are organic products also for oral care, deodorants, and feminine products. Hair care is another big boom for organic products. Some of you may remember the beer rinse, or eggs and mayo hair conditioners from back in the day. Now they have premade products with natural ingredients one can buy. There are organic products to meet all of your beauty and personal needs.
